is there also a way or option to disable the gimbal functionality eg. the gimbal is locked in the middle position?(I don't mean the gimbal lock option)

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. When gimbal lock mode is enabled, all three axes play a stabilizing role for the gimbal to keep the gimbal stand in place. If you wish the gimbal to move together with the handle, please try FPV mode. If there is any misunderstanding, please let us know. Hope this helps.
