Thanks.  It was actually pretty calm that morning, so no issues.  I've realised that it's just not worth flying the Avata in windy conditions.

Normal mode.  I've only been flying this drone a few months.  I'm trying to build up my skill and increase the speed.  But I also want to fly close to stuff - and it gets scary.
Gyroflow - awesome tool.
RC - more precise control (I believe), plus required for Manual mode (when I get there).

Thanks for your reply. I'm also thinking to do the same, building up my skills first and then try the manual mode, but this drone, I think, it's pretty good in sport mode.
Have you tried the Rocksteady with it??

Yeah, the drone is plenty capable in Normal/Sport mode, but what I really look forward to doing in Manual is being able to descend fast - to dive.  No, I haven't tried Rocksteady.
