I just bought this STARTRC Hard waterproof box for DJI Avata 2 drone.

It's a shame you cant keep the batteries in the hub to take advantage of the power transfer feature.

Thats a good point Daf - I've started using that feature and managed to get an extra flight with it.

No, you still can keep all 3 batteries in the battery charching hub for the power transfer feature.

I always try and land with 25% battery left,    its my little bit of insurance incase something happens,  ie wind,  people/animals  turn up etc and Ive used it a couple of times now and its a nice little feature and pretty quick.

Yes, if you have more than 3 batteries then you can keep into it.

Always good to have some juice left for the unexpected. It's amazing how quickly 25% turns into 15% too.

Last week I was just coming in to land and 200 ramblers came through the gate and slowly shuffled past,   I just kept the drone up and out the way until they had passed,   rather than having issues being in the red.

There have been a few times I have turned a drone around only to realise how strong the wind actually was on the return which significantly reduces the speed and drains the battery quicker. Leaving little battery can easily lead to losing the drone in countless scenarios. Always best to begin the return at 30% from within VLOS.

These cases present you well to a client when flying commercially and they keep everything very organised but the looks I use to get walking through the countryside or even a town park with a brief case looked odd lol

Yep been there,   had to ditch once in a field has I hit 3% and a stretch of water to cross.

I did three back to back flights on Friday with DJI ND filters and loved every minute of it! Arguably my favourite drone to date just for the sheer fun of flying!

They are sold out everywhere now according to one guy on here who was told there is a three-month wait for them. I was very lucky to get what looked like the last set in the UK. Be thankful you have a set on the way mate. The added motion blur effects at low altitude flying and the ability to dial in manual camera settings without over exposing makes a massive difference.

Friday was very sunny and last weekend. I used the ND8 with the shutter at 1/120 in 4K/60 and was still slightly over exposed. The ND16 was a little too much though except when pointing in the direction of the sun.

STARTRC makes some great cases. I have one from them for my Mini 3 Pro.
