Hi all
I have an SD card in the goggles (and formatted it in the goggles).
No SD card in the Avata 2 yet, just relying on internal storage.
The drone is supposed to record video automatically, but I'm getting nothing.
I found a setting to record automatically at takeoff. For some reason this was off, but I I turned it on and set it both drone and goggles.
But still nothing.

I pressed the sutter release a few times and it took photos.
Where else can I look?

You need to be in film mode not photo mode for the auto record to kick in.

You can long press the shutter button on the RC3 remote to swapo between modes or push the goggles joystick up to get to the photo/video menu to swap modes there.

I hope youve got a big memory card installed as that auto record option fills the cards up pretty quick.

I just use this function too (auto record on take off).
If i tap the stick only a tiny bit (drone take of a few centimeters and lands again), the records starts and stops immediately. Which is fine and certainly intended that way.
But If i start immediately and correctly again, the drone doesnt start recording. Ive to start recording manualy.

What do you mean by this? Recording should start as soon as motors are armed, not when you actually lift off. Do you mean if you disarm motors and then quickly rearm, it doesn't auto-restart recording? This is probably due to the old file still being saved. I guess it might be worth reporting, they could queue the recording and have it start once the previous file is fully saved.

Motors are armed, i lift off only a few centimeters (recording starts), then the drone lands again.

Motors are still armed but the recording stops. Then when I take off again, as it should (1 meter or more), the recording doesn't start again.
I noticed this because i was missing some videos.

I'll test it again and upload a video from the goggles here.
I keep you updated

That's interesting, mine seems to start recording when motors are armed, and stops recording when disarmed. I'll try to test this again too.
