I am the drummer in a band out of Detroit called Jennifer Westwood and the Handsome Devils. They are currently doing a month-long residency at that place. Because of my regular job, I could not make the trip with them, so they are playing with a substitute drummer this month. So aI am bored at home and I bought a Phantom 2!  Go check them out, she's got an incredible voice.

Springfield Illinois needs such a Fourm. Town of 120,000. With another 80,000 in smaller surrounding towns. It's hard to get the attention of DJI in such small areas but drone ownership is  growing here

Yay! Im actually from Akron but cleveland is a big city so i thought there would be some more drone people there. We Got to find more people in the area that would be cool to have a big drone meet up at a park or something

Michael, how do you find flying in the mountains of Whistler with respect to GPS signal?  I live close to Banff and would love to fly there but I don't really know what to expect for GPS signal.  Might have to fly ATTI.

Gps signal was good. No drifting or anything and stable flight. Batteries died faster because of the cold.

Thanks for the reply.  Have you tried flying in the valley, say close to the Whistler townsite?  I'm wondering how the phantom will perform in the valleys surrounded by mountains.

Yep, flies great. Just look out for helicopters, lots of em!
