Hi Ken

This happened to me it kept pausing one my home and work internet connection, all I did was turn off the phantom 4 it then downloaded the firmware with out pausing then turned the phantom 4 back on to load it in. So it seems that the phantom 4 was stopping it download, after that it installed fine with out  a hitch

Yes, I upgraded several P4's and one of them on the app got stuck at 99%. But after power cycling the P4, it then said completed.
Glad you got it all updated.

I'm unable to install the new firmware. Got the P4 last week. Never flew this drone (because we have a second one :-) ) Today I tried to update to new firmware 1.00.0288. Tried with iPad Air and iPhone 6 plus. Both mention update available, I start but they almost immediately stop and show button "continue to dowload". Pressed uncounted times but doesn't work. Tried with Assisstant on Windows 10. Connected the drone. It says update available. It always stops at 21%. Rebooted the drone and PC numerous times. Doesn't work. OK. Took the macbook. Asssisstant mentions update available. Downloads it until 100%. Yeah. But then again "update error". What's going wrong? Battery is fully charged, rebooted the whole system, controller update was successful. Reformated SD card. What can I do next? Thanks for your help in advance & happy easter!

Hi Ken, after firmware upgrade it's recommended  imu and gimball calibration.

The adding photo in the advanced tab is working fine.

It does not, Ken.. Says upload fails, try again later on iPhone 6 Plus.

Sorry, not download dng files to android device? And photo & vídeo not separate adjusts?

Here is a AirShou screen capture of a 5000m flight. It has been edited for time. Note that when the Phantom reaches over 5000m the RTH point is well behind the the battery's remain capacity. This required returning in Sport mode. The craft did make it back but did not catch up to the RTH point until about 500m from the HP.

I'm having trouble with the download.  I've tried it several times and it always says download failed.  Also, now I can't connect the aircraft to the RC.  Actually I can control the aircraft, but not through the app.  What am I missing?

Yes you can bind the Inspire remote with the P4, and the P3 Pro/Adv as well.
Just update the RC to ...

is the other way around also possible? Can I bind the P4 remote to an Inspire and use it as slave controller to control my camera on the Inspire 1 Pro?

I'm sorry but you cannot use the P4 as a slave controller for camera control and you also cannot use it as a master and have your Inspire as a slave,
The reason is because the Inspire RC also has a 5.8 RX/TX so the slave can communicate with the master for camera control.

How do you access IMU calibration without the IMU error message popping up? I only see the "IMU Calibration" button in the dji go app when there is an IMU error. Although I am no longer showing an error my P4 takes a while to "WARM UP".... HELP?

Aircraft menú (drone icon) advanced settings- sensor - Imu. Before start calibration, put your p4 on a perfect level surface.

"2.      Changed procedure for stopping motors during flight. To stop motors during flight, pull the left stick to the bottom inside corner while simultaneously pressing the Smart RTH button. This new procedure will only become available when Remote Controller firmware is updated to the latest version.  "

Does this effect the Phantom 3 or just Phantom 4?

Can anyone tell me why you would want to stop the motors in flight.  Referring to #2 to stop motors.  Seems to me this would end up in a crash of some sort.

Guys, does anyone of you know why I can't set the bitrate of the video downlink in the "Image Transmission Settings" menu? Near Auto, the "Custom" button appears faded out and I can't tap on it. Is there a specific situation in which it's not possible to press it? Also, how did this person record the screen of the device, is there an app for that?

To get the warming up process to be way quicker, do a cold IMU calibration.
Leave the aircraft in a cold place to 10-15 minutes, then pop the battery and power up and have the app and RC already running and in the IMU calibration page. As soon as the app see the aircraft start the IMU calibration on a flat surface.
When finished, it will only take seconds to complete the warm up process.

Yes only for the IMU calibration and that's so the startup will be quicker.

Yes, it's powered on and it doesn't let me customize the bitrate and/or the radio channels. Could there be another reason?
P.S. I thought there was an iOS app to screen-record

It's alright now! I tried to do it now at home with "SafeToFly (Non-GPS)" in yellow and it allowed me to customize both the transmission channel and bitrate. It didn't allow me to do it when I was outside with "SafeToFly (GPS)" in green, I don't know why. I'm in Italy btw.

Ahh ok I see. There are other solutions for more range but you would have to search the internet.

Hi. try this.... on your tablette or smart phone go to Settings and change language (English US). then open dji go App and over HD check that you will see all the settings you looking for. Problem maybe the legislation in some contries in EEC???. P.S check the metric sistem cause it may change from metric to imperial.

The app was already set in English (US). Btw I solved the problem, for some reasons I couldn't set it one day but now it's allowing me to do it. Pretty weird, don't know the reason for this ...
