Thank you, RHP. I was only trying to help others see the thought process that I went through when making this decision. I do respect the opinion of others, however. I appreciate everyone's input. My Lume Cube mounts have arrived, so once I get a few more flights in with this thing, I will throw those on there and report back.

This thread is about a product comparison, please keep it that way.

I just have a DJI Phantom 3 Pro', and only own other manufacturers  drones, so pretty difficult to compare them in the same arena. But on the heli field, we could compare their abilities quite easily. ;-)

Yes, it's too bad some folks here can't just learn to accept, that others here are more fortunate, and can afford to buy bigger and better models.  I get where envy comes from, and it's a crying shame. Hahaha

If I wanted an Inspire1, I would have purchased one... ;-)

Pretty excited about buttoning up my Align T-Rex 700E DFC HV
Ordered a Spektrum AR7210BX receiver, which should hopefully be arriving here this coming week... ;-)
Only $350.00 later but that price includes the USB update adapter device...
After doing some research, it seems pretty stable..

Nice, I used to fly Spektrum long time ago ago and had DX8/AR6000.
I really liked it.

Sounds like you have been in RC for a long while then. Do you also pilot collective pitch 3D capable helicopters?
Yes, Spektrum do make a very decent product. Flying my heli's and Voltage 500 with a Spektrum DX8 and my smaller bnf drones with a Spektrum DX6i.

I do like the new DX9 with voice messages. Much like we have with DJI... ;-)

Yes, been flying RC for over 30yrs starting with fixed wing, onroad/offroad cars, boats, then helis.
I have flown (and crashed) many many nitro and electric helicopters. That's why I gave them up and started multirotors several years ago.
The last helis I has was a T-Res 450 and nitro Raptor 60

I hear the bigger ones are much easier to fly. But crashing can cost loads more money... ;-)

Yes the bigger the easier to fly (at least for me)
I mostly flew the T-Rex in the house Now back to Jeremy's thread topic

And for the record both of the 'bickerer's' had valid points.  Just buying a shiny new Canon 5d3 (soon to be 4) won't make you a better photographer if you don't understand how to use your Rebel fully. But I sure wanted one, so there.
