Hi Ken..

I noticed on the "DroneHome" website (http://www.dronehome.io/dji_track/orders) shows some of the Mavic Pro's shipped to the USA use FEDEX and other countries shied via DHL
Could it be that the Mavic's shipped via FEDEX were shipped from DJI in the USA? or does DJI China use FEDEX to ship to the US?  Just wondering..

Shipping with DHL.   Just got an email from them with tracking number . delivery should be the 16th nov

I don't think so, I believe orders are shipped from China

as far as i can tell all orders are shipping from china.  mine was shipped via fedex from shenzhen

Please make sure to deliver a message to your superiors that we are very unhappy that our orders are being skipped over due to 'geographic' shipping batches.

This is absolutely unacceptable.

I hope you meant September 28th, if not, ill have whatever your drinking. Hope its Eggnog too because you'll be seeing yours well into late December if you ordered on Oct 28 in the states

Hence why that message "First come, first served" has been sneakily removed completely from the DJI ...

Im going to be shocked if they don't give the early preorder customers some type of discount or DJI bucks (is that a thing haha). There has to be something illegal about collecting that much money from people without actual proof of the final product being ready for shipment, and i don't mean concepts, i mean and actual product that is ready to hit the green light for mass production.

Ken, By any chance do you have the dimensions of the Mavic box (was it 12x10x4")? also if you can confirm 4.4lb package weight?

Not necessarily. DJI have recently ramped up their delivery shipping standard. Not by much but they're shipping out those Mavic Pro drones as fast as they possibly can, at least from what I've read. What this means is that people that have ordered the Mavic Pro in the last couple of weeks or even from this point forward, they most likely won't be waiting as much as the people who've pre-ordered in September have.

Overall, shipping faster means less waiting for everyone. What DJI hopes is that everyone who've ordered between the months of September and November get their Mavic Pros before the New Year. If they can do that, that'd be absolutely awesome. Everyone gets their Mavic Pro drone and are happy.

I won't be back in the repair shop for a while, maybe someone else can assist.
Besides, I'm guessing you need that for your newly sold Mavic for profit.

No it doesn't, but if you needed it for technical reasons I'd be more inclined to take the trip to repair center and get other people involved to go get me one from stock just so I can measure the box so you can get a shipping estimate since you don't have yours yet.
Make sense?

I do have mine im just at work and but I ordered the fly More Combo. So I was just looking for dimensions on the Mavic Box only. Thanks for the offer tho.

Just got my mavic. I Was suppose to get it tomorrow. But it came in two days. Be patient everyone, it's starting to ship.

They probably do ship in sequence BUT whatever region you are in also gets factored in.

Last I heard, Santa had outsource the delivery job to China.
