I think the question has been asked here, but maybe not: I bought the P4P+ with built in screen, hence, NO use of any other apps = my mistake.  Has anyone successfully used the standard RC without the screen on their P4P+?  My local dealer is saying that even though the P4P+ and the P4P are the same exact drones, that you cannot purchase a standard P4P RC and have it work with the originally purchased P4P+ drone.  This makes zero sense to me.  Can anyone shed some light here?

Yes, another Phantom 4 PRO controller can be linked to the bird.  Only one at a time, though as I understand it.  There's a little hole with a red led in it on the side of the bird just above & left of the usb port.  In Go 4, go to Remote Controller Settings and scroll down to "Linking RC".  Touch the Linking RC link and follow the directions.  The frequency button is the hole with the red led.

attaches to the Cendence remote controller without an additional mounting bracket.

*Monitor mounting bracket recommended. The Mavic Pro and Osmo series gimbal cameras
(excluding the Osmo Mobile) are only compatible with 5.5" Crystalsky monitors.
so I suppose the answer would be YES, with the new mounting bracket installed on the RC.

Hi Dornel, the remote for P4P cannot used on P4.

Am I the only person who has successfully done this then? I'm using the GL300E with the latest firm ware and in the link option there is the choice of Phantom 4 Advanced, Phantom 4 Professional or Phantom 4.
The only thing I can't get to work is setting up the C1 or C2 buttons to operate the gimbal forward/down. The display is awesome!

No but your P4P controller whatever it is standard or + will work with your P4.
