With all the new sensors I am surprised I have not seen an obstacle avoidance test for P4P.

Can it fly through the forest without hitting a branch? What are the extent of it's capabilities.

Is anyone aware of an obstacle avoidance test video? I am still trying to choose between Mavic and P4P

I have a P4 and the OA doesn't detect my somewhat thin wire fence....doubt it would be able to detect thin branches.

We were all hoping YOU would SPEND THE MONEY and put up a "Phantom 4 Pro Obstacle Avoidance Test."

Here it is with big targets:

With small branches etc it will probably be hitt and miss like the P4.
Targets have to be big enough to register and thin ones don't.

Since no-one has a P4pro in their hands except a very small number of reviewers, I was only able to find one P4pro video for you and as I said in the earlier post, behaviour is going to be like the P4 so I sent the other 3 to illustrate that.

That should have been clear if you read my post.

With the standard P4, I find that when flying around trees, if you get stuck then the way out is to reverse, which you can always do because there is no obstacle avoidance in reverse.  

Interested to know how you get out of a position where all 5 directions are saying "NO"...
