Hi! Before my P4P gets here I'd like to learn on a simulator. To get the right controller I need to know which mode the Phantom Controller operates in. It doesn't say on the spec sheet. Is one mode more common than the other? Thanks.
Its actually just a matter of taste.
Originally Mode 2 is commonly used in US and Europe, Australia and Asia often use Mode 1.
The advantage of getting used to Mode 2, is that its easier to relate to other equipment later that might not have customizable modes
You will get the option to choose during initial set up and then can change it at anytime via the RC settings section of the Go app. You can even take it a step further and can create a custom stick control, but that's really for those that are either a little more skilled or really do not like fitting into a particular mold.
