The battery on the right is what is being shipped with most Phantom v3.0s. Someone over at PhantomPilots.com confirmed that.

I bought 3 batteries from DJI last month, shipped out from Shenzhen, China and all of them are similar to the photo on the left with the V2.0 marking.

I have 3 batteries and one of them have the V2.0.I noticed that the one with the V2.0 is the only one that works with the app to display the battery info, the other 2 say not compatible with the app.

I can confirm that model V2.0 is compatible with DJI VISION Battery Log and has Upgraded cells.

Yes, I can confirm that. New version of battery is V.2.0 . But there is one thing that worries me a  lot.

Old battery working voltage  (iOSD data) is mostly 11,5 V - full throttle coming down do 10,7 at the very end.
The new V2.0 batteries shows 10.7V  on full throttle starting from 90% till the end.

IMHO 10.7 Volts at 90% and through the whole flight time is too low value....

First time I was really scared when I saw 10,7 V with 90% of battery capacity. I thought the battery is damaged, then I have checked other batteries and all are working the same.

Full Throttle 10,7V, 11V zero throttle.

The V2 battery has totally different discharge curve comparing to the previous model.

was just going to post the same question. I just got a new battery from Amazon and it's one of the one's without the v2.0 marking. Any worries about using these?

too many horror stories of 'loss of power' crashes for me to try and save 25 bucks on a non-authentic battery and risk damage to my 1000-2000 dollar investment.  NOT saying that people cannot use after market accessories like batteries... just saying that i am not going to.  i have 4 authentic dji batteries (latest versions) ran me a total of 500 bucks but i do get peace of mind when using them.  had i paid only 350-400 for all of them, the cost savings wouldnt be worth it to me.

oh no this is an authentic DJI battery, it's just not marked as v2.0. I'm just concerned if the older model batteries have problems they worked out with the newer ones.

IMHO the V.2.0 are worse in performance that regular one.   10.7 V at full thorttle is crazy.

Where have you had success getting a v2.0 battery? I just bought two on amazon and they are the older version.

thanks, Matt

I too just got another battery this week. Shipped from Amazon in Kentucky and is also the 'old' version.
What did surprise me is that it arrived fully charged!.......

EDIT: I just checked the other two that came with the bird, a month back, and they're both V2.0

I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Cheers,
Ian

Did you also notice that most if not all of the loss of power are OEM DJI batteries .

they seem to auto shut off when they feel like it at times. Check out the battery threads , many fail as soon as 15 and 20 uses.

Mine , that came with my plus in Jan, has already indicated issues at as low as 60%. So 129.00 for under 20,  12 minute flights is not a real good value for me.

It is a great test bench battery now though !

I now have over 45 flights on a 2 month old 6000 with zero issues and it shows lots of life left in assistant.
