As far as the compass calibration you only need to do it once and you're good to go unless the app tells you to. If you calibrate it every time you fly you run the risk of a bad calibration and that can cause a number of issues. Just a reminder ;)

The first part is very true ... but then it goes a bit off ...

Once you have a good calibration - leave it alone unless you move a large distance from that location ... literally hundreds of KM / miles ...
I've explained why many times - but its all to do with VARIATION - that is the earths offset of magnetic pole and your location on the earth.
Local anomalies can kick the App into thinking you have a problem and need to re-calibrate ... DON'T !

Before you do that - power all off ... move a few feet and power on again ... you will likely find all is OK ... the previous spot may have had pipes / cables / old bedstead under the ground etc.
Concrete slabs, driveways, roads are all notorious for magnetic anomalies.

If you were to re-calibrate - imagine what happens when you get high up and then no effect from that anomaly ? BEEP BEEP ... compass warning !!

Only re-calibrate compass if really necessary such as after FW update / repairs or moved long distance from original location.

My flying sites are spread in a 200km radius and I never re-calibrate compass from the good setting I have from home area.

I don't think it is the Firmware update. I have the same problem, I have a P3S & I have not done the update.
I am using a Apple mini IPad & get Strong Inference  all the time  flying in a open field. But I have not had any problems.

Most WIFI now have gone wireless or at least where I live and the only thing I have is a very small antenna on my roof.I live in a area surrounded by houses and most if not all of them have the small antenna but not the same service as I have. The antenna is mounted on what looks like a 1" diameter pole and the antenna itself is probably 3" diameter and 6-8" tall so it isn't that easily seen from very far away.I would rather think you have metal or high iron content in the ground causing interference rather than WIFI.I have checked mine out several times and have not had any problems but I have stayed in my back yard.

That's the way it is here ( about 30 miles East of Palm Springs) all of the utilities are underground due to the fact it is windy most of the year, so everything is underground or it would be blown over

It because your controller detects other wifi signals

I make sure I turn the wifi off to any other devices I may have with me, i.e. my phone, it can try and highjack the signal or atleast weakens the signal to the device I'm using to control the drone.

I am experiencing this problem badly with my Galaxy Tab S 8.4 + Phantom 4 + GO 4.1.19
If i turn off the wifi on the pad it is much better, though it is a bit random.  However I need the wifi to be on the tab so i can download maps from my phone.  A sh#t experience all round.   I'm guessing its something DJI can easily fix, as some people said it worked with earlier versions of GO.

My Samsung S7 has none of these problems, however i dont need to have wifi running on my S7 to get maps.

I have this problem too.  Its a one month old Phantom 4 Pro +.  (Built in screen)  The problem did not start until I upgraded the firmware to V01.02.02.  I would agree that it is a software issue.  DJI tech support  does not have any remedies.

I live in the middle of nowhere and get the strong wireless interference message. It was startling when I first saw it. It never happened before. Been flying my P4P for over a year.  So I drove to four different locations miles apart and all in remote areas with no cell towers, homes etc, and still the message kept appearing. It did not ever happen until the upgrade to the Go app.  So, it is definitely a software bug.  Unless we are being bombarded with wireless interference from another planet

In what area of the US are you let your bird flying? I hope not so near on mountains containing metal ore.(Mirror effective)

Assuming this to be the case, for the moment, he did state that he has been flying there for a year without this warning...so I sincerely doubt that a large amount of metal ore has suddenly materialized anywhere in the area.  Maybe it's a huge bubble of magma moving toward the surface, so the good news is that would answer the warning, the bad news is he still wont be able to fly due to the large volcano in the area and the resulting eruption...

I was watching a documentary recently where they were using DJI phantoms to 3D map inside active volcano caldera. Pretty impressive.

Which Phantom are you flying and which ipad are you using. I have the Phantom 3 Pro and a ipad 2 they don't link correctly the ipad seems to want  to connect up with a Phantom 4. The camera button just wouldn't come up with the Phantom 3 Pro selected.
