Hey, newbie here....first post. Mainly for you folks with 4+ batteries..... Is the Mavic built to handle that much fly time in a day? Is it ok to use an entire battery, land, put in a fresh battery, and take right back off?
I have 2 batteries and sometimes I wonder if I am flying the Mavic too hard when I use both batteries back to back. Are there any guidelines on these topics? Also does anybody have any information on longevity of these machines? If they are like any other motors, they will have to be replaced at some point...
I recently flew down to 20-30% five fully-charged batteries back-to-back twice in the same day and never noticed any sort of problem. I seem to recall reading somewhere that the Mavic is able to detect when it gets too hot and will tell you, but I've yet to see any kind of message to that effect so I think you'll be fine with two. |
