Heres how you can reproduce the Gimbal Overload error, simply tilt your phantom about 45 degrees to the right and move the camera up and down. How could DJI have overlooked this during testing? And more importantly, how do they intend to fix this with a software update when it is clearly a design flaw? Only possible solution I see here is to manually grind that corner of the camera down..

Sure, I agree Monty, but this is obviously how it must be if you are interested in your P4P camera maintaining a more reliable horizon. Hey, my P4 has been sitting on beta since January - I'm not too concerned if my P4P stays on beta either, so long as it flys and the horizon issue is better (if not fixed completely).

Natalia, I'm happy to report back on the beta experiences after I've been given access. I've PM'ed my email, as advised earlier. Thanks.

Well Monty, in the "Is DJI abandoning it's loyal beta testers" P4 thread, we've resorted to quoting lines from "retty Woman" and "Notting Hill" - so it's gotten serious !!

Anyway, I'm keen for a potential fix for the horizon integrity - if only on my P4P - so will risk being left on this beta version too.

I too was cured by the Beta. I had the worst Tilted Horizon. When flying and filming I was constantly adjusting the tilt based on which way I was flying. I could level it while idling, throttle up and bam it would be off. Today I flew in 20 mph wind and the horizon was ROCK SOLID no matter what I did it maintained a level horizon. This fix is for real and I along with others wonder why they don't release it. Imagine the returned birds they are dealing with in 3 months.

I requested the beta also and provided my account email address (required by DJI to set your access rights so Assistant 2 has visibility of the binary file to install). When I first started Assistant 2 the beta didn't appear  - only the production version. However, I did a 'refresh' and then the beta appeared.

So, if you haven't already, try doing a refresh on the firmware screen once you're logged in with the craft connected.

I also have the same problem. Nothing is working. I tried to do everything that was stated on the first 6 pages, but it still tilts. I am not sure what to do, as the tilt is quite annoying for me when I am trying to take a video. I even put it on a completely level surface, and nothing works. As soon as I take off, and move, the horizon is tilted. Sometimes, however, when I come to a complete stop, the horizon levels out. I have a Phantom 4.

Hi. This is a known issue affecting all Phantom models. This particular fix (yet to be 100% confirmed) is specifically offered in beta firmware for the P4P Only.

Whether it will be offered for the P4 is yet to be advised, although DJI have still not yet released a beta firmware (not with this fix) tested back in January. That doesn't bode well for a future P4 release. However, I still hold hope in thinking that DJI are just waiting on successful testing of the horizon fix with the P4P, prior to rolling it out across their whole Phantom model range - including the P4.

we have notice the twitch problem, that is another  problem which appears when airspeed from side direction is very high,  we are still working on this... TAT

Hi. Your screenshot shows the email account that you're logging in as. Perhaps DJI haven't entered this as the same when enabling your access? Just a thought for Natalia...
