I finally took the plunge!!
New Inspire 2 arrived today. Spent the evening charging, updating, studying, etc.
All good so far...... test flight tomorrow!!
Overall very impressed with the changes over the Inspire 1.
All props fit very well. Seems thay have ironed out those kinks.
All of them have foam inserts in them and fit nicely. No numbers at all on the underside of them.
I see why the motors are so much bigger. This bird weighs quite a bit more than the I1.
4 pounds of batteries on her......

Very happy for you.
Me too, purchased my new Inspire 2 and I am very happy. 2 pf the props are loose and they do not appear to be the v2 props..

Still this is a nice machine and cant wait to try it out.

New bird dead.

FPV camera won't stop rolling and tilting.
It just does this endlessly, and gets quite hot doing it.

This bird is going back to it's momma.
Replacement shipping to me today, expected to arrive Monday.

I have tried:
Reinstalling GO4 on ipad.
Reinstalled DJI assistant on computer.
Refreshed FW on AC
Downgraded FW on AC
Reinstalled FW on AC
Updating with remote control through GO4
Updating through DJI assistant connecting AC to computer
Retore Factory settings
IMU Calibration
Compass Calibration
Tried to re-link RC and now that won't work

Congratulations !!!

Inspire 2 is a nice Aircraft, it certainly has power, have had it for a few months and love it. Max speed so far for me is around 57mph in SF bay.

So, I guess the 2 big questions I have are:
1) Can't the I2 be flown without a gimbal?  Yes  I do not have the camera yet either
2) Is it the lack of a gimbal that made the FPV camera act oddly?  Yes
3) According to the manual, holding C2 and rotating the left wheel changes the pitch of the FPV. This is not happening. (Probably b/c the camera is jerking all around.
Yes, you can adjust the FPV while holding down the C2 button.  I flew 2 flights with my new I2 and it was working great. I only have the prop issue but that is not a big deal. DJI support has all my information.

I have a couple of other concerns but so far  really fun
