So apparently you are supposed to be able to adjust the gimbal roll/horizon tilt in flight by holding the C2 button and scrolling the right wheel.

This does not work for me. I'm using Android - Samsung S7
Latest firmware, latest version of DJI Go 4 sourced directly from DJI website this morning.

Im on IOS and by default mine rolls with the left hand wheel, no button push necessary

I don't mean the up/down movement of the gimbal, I'm talking about the adjustment to correct a tilted horizon.

I mean this feature....

AHHH, I awalys adjust thru the settings as shown in vid, didnt know there was a shortcut

Try recalibrating the gimbal through the settings on yr device through the app  rather than through the controller- samsung a6 - no problems here

Are there any more button combo that's out there that we are not aware of. And what fw and app combo does this shortcut works.  Sorry does not mean to hijack your thread.

This is great! I'm surprised I haven't heard of this before. I have IOS and will be trying it out later tonight.

Its not working for me as described in your original post , Im on IOS and tryed it today with 3 quads, one on 400, 700 and 800. Were you able do do it before?

So the YouTube video the guy made about the shortcut is false? Or maybe the feature was there and now it is removed?


Why doesn't DJI chime in or document this stuff?

I saw that claim a long time ago and tried it myself but couldn't get it to work. Maybe it worked on an older version of the firmware or only on Android devices or something, but I couldn't get it to work either and haven't tried in a while.

The guy who made the video said it still works on his iphone, so I guess we can assume that the feature isn't available on Android devices.

I have emailed DJI requesting that this handy feature be added/re-added to Android devices & urge anyone else to do the same.

I can confirm this shortcut works on my iphone 6s plus with latest DJI Go App 4.

Re: other secret shortcuts: on the main screen, press the options menu in the upper-right for 3 seconds to open the firmware screen, which shows current firmware version of aircraft and RC, shows release notes for all available firmwares and allows upgrading and downgrading from the the app. Downgrading works as reliably as does upgrading, though I'm one of the guys who never had any issues upgrading using Go4.
