How do I get into follow me mode on DJI go app flying Phantom Stand 3

enable intelligent flight modes in the GO APP ,  under general settings ,    when powered up and in the air ,  toggle S1 to bottom position -- F MODE ,  a blue controller icon will appear on left side of screen , tap icon and choose follow me mode.  

In addition you take care for enabled location service on your mobile (GPS-receiver) and look for a big number of logged GPS satellites for sure.
10 or more satellites are good for this mode.

Usually,  your screen device will lose some of the GPS signal inside a covered vehicle like a car.   You also most likely lose some signal between the controller and the drone.  An open vehicle like a convertible or a boat might work OK.

I asked the same question before and most everybody said no. Your car is basically a tin can and the signal isn't going to get out. If you had a convertible or hang out the window I'm pretty sure it would work.
But don't forget the P3S needs line of sight, so if you go behind a tree or around a curve, you are going to lose contact.
