Does anyone know if the mavic will fly without the gimbal and camera? I know this is possible with the inspire, phantom 3 and 4. But I cannot find anything online about the mavic. The reason is to practice and if I crash not have to buy a new gimbal.
But if you remove it won't that void any warranty anyway ? Just leave gimbal front plastic on if you want some protection and remove it once you gain confidence....

Actually, you want to watch out for the plastic piece on the back of the gimbal. That needs to be removed. You would want the front plastic piece to be removed as well.
