I have the exact same issue I have seen posted and fixed here previously, but it required DJI to unlock previous firmware versions temporarily.
My RC is on .900
My AC is stuck on .400

I have tried the multitudes of 'Fixes" and cannot get anything to get my AC to update past .400

The other user was given access to .350 and told to make sure the mavic was recording during the update. I would appreciate a chance at trying this route, rather than sending it in for repair.

Jim, what error code you've got when you are failed to upgrade the drone?

They should all be in my account I imagine. I submitted many times after the failures. It was always a generic unknown error

Everytime it gets to 60% and hangs, then restarts and sits until it fails.

Please refer to  the steps below to upgrade it via the DJI Assistant 2 again.
1. Log into your DJI account.
2.Upgrade the firmware V01.03.0350.
3. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to the latest one, it will be working.

Copy that , please refer to  the steps below to upgrade it via the DJI Assistant 2 again.
1. Log into your DJI account.
2.Upgrade the firmware V01.03.0350.
3. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to the latest one, it will be working.

I will try it later after work.

Be happy about this ! Reset Your RC to .400 too, install DJI GO (instead of GO4) and MP will work like a charm again as it was when it was released back in Dec. 2016 ..................

Leave it there, nothing to be gained by upgrading, just more restrictions and less power.

I have forwarded your account to engineers, will help you  reconfigure it soon.

Manage to complete the downgrade to V01.03.0350 and successful with upgrade to V01.03.0811. However it failed in several tries the upgrade to V01.03.0900.

Appreciate you further advice.

Have you pressed the "Record" button,before you upgrade to the latest firmware? Here is the whole upgrade process for your reference.
1. Log into your DJI account.
2.Upgrade the firmware V01.03.0350.
3. Once it's done, please press the "Record" button on RC and make sure it's recording, then start to upgrade firmware to the latest one, it will be working.

Hi, I have logged into my account but cannot see the firmware V01.03.0350 referred to

I am using Assistant 2 to upgrade from PC to the drone but it fails at UPDATE 60%. Freezes then after more than 10 minutes says Update Failed V01.03.0900.
