Where are the settings for the Mavic stored that are entered using the app?
If I were to use a different device on my controller, would I have to enter all of my preferences again or are they stored within the MP and loaded when it connects to the controller?

They are stored in the MP. No need to worry ;)

You might want to sync the flight logs before you change device.
