I updated the the controller via the GO APP and now when i connect to the AC is states air craft disconnected and it also shows my equipment is A professional not the advanced. Previous remote version was 1.5. It said it updated to 1.9. Please help, have to video this weekend, wanted to make sure everything everything was current.

Is the firmware update successful, right? What's the firmware version of aircraft and APP? I would recommend you to check whether the firmware matched and link RC to see whether it works.

i have latest firmware on both RC(1.9.2) and drone (1.11.20) tried linking RC several times but i still have problems comunicating with the drone: i cannot arm it but i can see and move camera, also RECORD. it's so strange.
if i try to modify the maximum height it fails and says "check device connection and retry".
then, after some minutes, it suddenly connects O.o

Hi susan, not sure what version the aircraft is on. I only know that the controller went from 1.5 to 1.9,
I am trying to update the AC to 1.11.2 but it doesn't seem as if it wants to take it.

I know this sounds strange but I had the same problem after updating DJI Go to 3.1.10.  I took out the SD card and everything returned to normal. I formatted the card and replaced it and it is still OK. Worth a try.

i got the aircraft to take the update. so controller is on 1.9 and ac is on 1.11.2, only thing now is the go app still says its a p3p and won't connect to ac

app version is 3.1.14

how come i can only download the 3.1.10 from playstore? does it depend on my android version?

Sounds like your tablet is not connecting to the RC. Is the led on the RC red or green with the RC and AC on?

app version is 3.1.14

DJI Go 3.1.14 is for Apple
DJI Go 3.1.10 is for Android

Did you try removing the SD card to see if the app sees your drone as P3ADV?

PROBLEM SOLVED! THIS LINK TO A VIDEO ON YOUTUBE SAVED THE DAY! AFTER PERFORMING THE 1.11.2 UPDATE TO MY P3A, I COULD NOT CONNECT THE RC TO THE AC, IT WOULD JUST SAY DISCONNECTED AND THE APP THOUGHT I WAS FLYING A P3P NOT MY P3A. HERE IS THE LINK. I HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE THAT ALSO IS EXPIERENCING THE SAME ISSUE I ENCOUNTED. THANK YOU TO ALL THE ABOVE THIS POST WHO TRIED TO HELP! SAFE FLYING EVERYONE!

ONE OTHER THING THAT HAPPENED WAS AFTER UPDATING THE RC AND AC, ID PUT AN SD CARD IN THE AC AND IT WOULD TELL ME IT WAS BAD AND TO REPLACED THE SD CARD. I FIXED THIS ISSUE BY FORMATTING  ALL MY SD CARDS BY INSTALLING EACH ONE INTO THE AC AND FORMATTNG THEM THROUGH THE APP.
