Local TV station says they cannot use drone video because of format and it is too hard to change.  Help me undersatnd why.  They gave no explaination  

I call bluff. If they can use YouTube footage, they can use drone footage.

If you had some hot news, footage, they could, and would.

The Phantom series support MP4 and MOV. Also, I do not think it is too hard to change.

What format are they saying they cannot use?

It's a bit hard for anyone to explain given they have not given a reason.
Since drone footage is commonly used in TV programs all over the place nowdays, it sounds like they are mistaken.
You'll have to get some explanation from the TV station about what format they like to use.
