the zone i live in is a safe to fly zone according to the faa 'b4ufly' app and the dji website. meanwhile sometimes when i try to fly the app says "cannot fly" and when i thrust a warning pops up saying "cannot takeoff in a no fly zone". Anyone familiar with this problem?

Have you tried updating the no fly zone database?

Please make sure that your app had been up to date, please make sure that you can re-cache the map of the app. If it still not works, could you provide the screenshot of the coordinate for us to check?

Like Thor said......can you give us a screenshot of your map and/or the GPS coordinates.

just go to http://www.dji.com/flysafe/geo-map and navigate to the location you wanted to fly, it should show the spots where DJI wants you to ask for authorization...

I was actually referring to the internal database which can be found in the main settings window where you go to look at the firmware versions you are on. There is an update there for the database.
