Hi all

I would like to have the spark fly back to my controller upon pressing RTH

So my question is
1. Do I press and mark the homepoint using the rc marking  before I takeoff the spark. Of course I will Ensure enough sats
Or
2. I press and mark the homepoint using the rc marking right after takeoff.

If I walk to a different point do I have to press the rc mark on the mc setting prior to pressing RTH

Kindly advise

That's all you can do, but every time you move you will have to reset it as there is no dynamic homepoint on spark as of now.

Thanks hallmark007

So basically I have to mark return to controller right after takeoff. And if I move to a different location I simply press RTH and it will fly to my location. Is that it?

Also I find the camera somewhat frustrating ....I cannot tilt the camera all the way down during RTH. Is this normal?

I don't know about the camera, haven't come across that, could be something to do with RTH speed which is 22mph outside 100 metres .
And yes every time you move you will have to change it, otherwise it will just return to last setting, it is a risky proposition if your on a boat.

You want to create a strong GPS point and put the aircraft on the ground. Wait to hear from the aircraft that home point has been updated.

Thanks TMUSVI

I have read the user guide many times. However it doesn't provide much detail abt Return Home to Controller.

Likewise there's no YouTube that talks abt RTH to controller. YouTube only show RatH to controller using Mavic

I think when you RTH button, you can't control the Spark until you get out of RTH, no camera pitch or anything.

Hi, how do you do RTH to controller. I tried and tried although pressing the RTH to controller on MC setting menu it still return home to original home point ie where I initially takeoff. Here's how I do it
1. Take off and  Spark will say your home point has been updated
2. I fly forward abt 26m
3. I then move myself holding the controller to the left for abt 20m
4. I then press the return to controller button in the mc setting menu
5. It says my home point has been updated to my location. I checked the map and the home point mark was indeed updated
However when I press RTH it still fly and started landing to my original takeoff point

What didi do wrong??? Kindly advise
