When I zoom in on the enlarged versions, I do see some noise and fuzzyness. Is that also in the originals?
Or are they compressed?

It does indeed look a bit better.
But I don't think these are full res (max 2048) whereas the resolution stated on the specs is 3968×2976

Thatss the resolution they were exported from photoshop/lightroom. The images have been cropped also so there will be slightly less.
