I would prefer the props to be recessed into cut sections too, if they are intended to be left on.

I was gonna make a similar comment.   There's no prop guards....like the microraptor cases have

why the extra bulk when it takes 2.2 seconds to remove props

Yes, it has a handle that extends and it has wheels on the case. I don't have prop guards so I can't answer if there is room to store them.

What are the 4 thin little spaces for?

Tried that already sadly not an option for them at the moment, they are a small outfit.
