Hello,

I just landed my new Phantom 3 in water.
I instantly removed it and removed the battery.
When I turned it over, I saw a pink liquid / fluid running out of the Drone (as if it were bleeding).

Does anyone know where the pink liquid could come from or what it is for?

I saw some traces coming from the camera.

Thank you in advance

Moisture indicator pack.  Bleeds out when u get ur aircraft wet, so that DJI knows your returned aircraft "ditched".

HERE!

It was listed in another thread, it's right on the battery itself (although would not be surprised if there is another inside the body of the quad too).  Hard to spot if ur not looking for it, small disc under the lip of the battery.

Cheers!

Wow, yeah! I found it and mine is completely red. 100% of the disk is red.
That mus be it!

So its not any special fluid for any motor, I am relieved.

Thanks a lot!

No probs man.  Although if you want a pro tip:

DJI highly recommends against landing in water.  Their r&d team seems to indicate terra firma is more suitable.

I'm guessing you had extraordinary circumstances tho!
