Would we be able to swap the camera on the Mavic 3 to the Mavic 3 pro?

Nice find DA.    Russ, provided a full overview the new Mavic 3 Pro.  I got to say though that Gimbal is enormous.  If it ever loses power it is going down camera first.

Hopefully with the battery being aft that will counter the heavy camera up front.

Well, of course I had to think about it.  Just imagine the possibilities!  Instead of a news article that says "Family struck by falling drone", they can say "Family struck by falling Hasselblad camera".

The Mavic 3 pro looks really great, all the camera's would be awesome. . But I'm pretty excited just to be getting a brand new never flown Mavic3 flymore combo for the same price for the standalone m3pro through a private deal with one of the members here..  I should be getting it by Saturday. I am sooo ready for a upgrade. I flown the pants off my mini2 this year.   I just turn in a 101 hours and a 1000.8 miles on it yesterday and tomorrow I will have had my mini2 a year or 365 days. so I I can only imagine what I am going to be able to do with the mavic 3 with 3 - 46 minute batteries even if it only has just 2 camera's on it and .

In some of the picture it also appears to be taller than the original mavic 3.

It must be big if the whole family was hit by it.

It is, as is the frame of Enterprise drone and not Mavic 3 drone.

I just got a question for DJI. Are you going to sell the Mavic 3 Pro for sometimes or is it going to be the same as the Mavic 3? How long you will have spare parts for these drones? I was hoping to get at least a couple of years with the Mavic 3, but it seems is not even longer for sale, so I wonder for how long this new drone will be supported for? 6 months? 12 months??

Perhaps you should start a new thread asking about the support, its more likely to be seen

I don't know about the Mavic 3, but DJI still support the Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom, which  were released in 2018.
You can still buy batteries from DJI, and the latest firmware update was a few months ago.
For a five year old consumer electronic product I think DJI is doing a decent job in supporting it.

The Mavic 3 hasn't been abandoned.
It's been updated and lives on.
The Mavic 3 pro is the same Mavic 3 but with a new camera and gimbal.

All DJI drones have 12 months warranty from date of purchase.
How much support do you want?
You should easily get a couple of years out of a Mavic 3.
I still fly a 6.5 yr old Phantom 4 pro that's had a solid working life.
It's a nice supplement to a one year old Mavic 3.
And when I pick up the 3 pro, I'll still keep the Phantom because it has some abilities that the Mavics don't.

I hadn't noticed that but after going back and taking a look it does appear to be a bit taller.  Camera and gimbal just looks so big.  Guess I'm used to looking at the front of the Mini 3 Pro.  Not a fair size comparison for sure.

Just remember depending on which country you are flying the Pro

The weight of the Drone is now well over 900 grams, this adds more restrictions than the Classic

I’ll be sticking to my M3C now

I live in the USA . and I have had my  p107 for about 6 months so hopefully i should be covered.
Plus I am very fortunate to live in a very remote area , there are very few NFZ accept around the Appalachian trail. and the Tennessee state prison . plus there is lots of gorges and mountain terrains, huge TVA lakes, ATV& bike trails etc.  here , Its a perfect place for what the M3 is built for.
Ive been flying here with a mini2 very well but always worried but flying  into  a mountain if i lost rc
the m3 i should not have to worry about that so much

DJI replied to me on Twitter about the ND filters. They are going to be the same as before, so if you swap lenses, you will end up with an ND too dark to shoot a scene.

Not happy about this

Support and warranty are not the same thing...

But if I can get 5 years of support, as ArticPhoto did mentioned for comparison, I'm ok with that...

No that's not entirely true. As the Pro weighs more than 960 gr. you have no chance go get the C1 label which is mandatory here in the EU if you want to fly close to people. So if you need the cine version for professional shootings you should better try to get some of the remaining stock of the Mavic 3 Cine (without the Pro)
Cheers

Yes, the frame is same size like Enterprise edition. Probably because of heavier gimbal, M3E having the frame adapted for frontal weights.

Well, it has a new camera and gimbal but it weighs more, you can not get the C1 certification so it's not the same Mavic 3!

Whether the new camera is heavier or lighter than the original, it's still a Mavic 3.
What's so hard to understand about that?

That would make since to give it a bit more stable platform.  I need to take a look at weight differences on the original Mavic 3 Cine and the Mavic 3 Pro.
