Questions:

1. Can the X3 cam also used on this mounting plate?

2. Is the X5 mounting plate itself better then the X3 ones regarding vibrations?

3. What is the weight difference of the X3 and X5 mounting plate?

I'd also like to know if the X3 can be used with it as I wouldn't like to have to switch the mounting plate each time... Though, I've a feeling I wouldn't actually change it again after installing the X5.

Correct it's separate from the camera. The vibration plate kit does include the leg extensions though.

are the leg extensions going to make a difference with fitting in the inspire case?

I believe a step is missing in this video.

It shows removing the dampers from the gimbal in order to detach the gimbal from the craft, but not completing the step of removing the dampers from the craft.

The next scene shows them removed from the craft, but does not mention that as a step.

Do I have that correct?

My X5 is arriving tomorrow and I want to make sure I do the uninstall and install correctly.

So I answered my own question by doing the install.

I love how this video fails to show the installer fumbling with these little screws in order to line them up and hold the parts together while doing so.

One thing that needs to be mentioned is that the screw driver needs to be 2.0 mm not 2.5 mm as mentioned in the video. Anyone having a 2.5 mm will probably have a 2.0 mm. Just trying to save someone a little time and frustration in preparation.

I know I'm making a little fun of the video, but it really is a well done and very helpful.

Install the dampers on my I1 with the X3 and went well.  As stated above, the front old dampers have to be removed.  Other then that, the video was right on and helped.

Can someone confirm if Inspire with Zenmuse x5 vibration board will fit in the original DJI case ? My Zenmuse X5 just arrived and I would like to install it, but I need to know if it will fit in the orginal case, as my landing mode X5 case will arrive in around 2 weeks.

YES!!! I was deciding whether to get a phantom 3 professional or the Inspire 1. Done! I'm getting the Inspire 1.

it isnt a 2.5 mm hexagon screwdiver its a  2mm

Can someone let me know the exact size of the 4 screws?

Can't find that info anywhere.

I'm guessing M2 x 6.

Would like to get it right.
