Does anybody know if the GOPRO wifi interferes with the phantom and the controller?

It does with the Phantom 2 which uses 2.45Ghz for it's transmitter but not with the Vision/V+ which uses 5.8Ghz.

It does. I wouldn't do this unless you're willing to risk a flyaway

Does the 5.8 GHz transmitter of the P2/V+ work with the P2?

No,

Phantom vision = 5.8 GHz
Phantom non vision = 2.4 GHz

No,

Phantom vision = 5.8 GHz

Thanks for the quick response.
Well, are you sure.. there is no way to switch the GHz frequency (P2 receiver)??

You could technically swap the reciever built into the phantom to use a 5.8 GHz controller. But why would you want to do this. Wifi on a gopro is pretty weak, you would have no fun using the gopro app on a tablet for FPV (if this was your idea). You then could not install an analgog video transmitter, as these also run on 5.8 GHz. So you will have no benifits, only more problems.

Thank you.
Except the expensive Lightbridge, there is no way to use/incorporate my iPhone/iPad in a FPV system/solution?

Lightbridge runs on 2.4 GHz too, so no, you cannot use lightbridge or a tablet/phone on a non vision phantom. I you have a phantom (non vision), you will need an analog transmitter and a FPV screen like the black pearl.

Markus, thanks again.

What do you think about the Premium or Deluxe package of the FPV's from Helipal?
I would appreciate any kind of feedback or advise.

I can't judge on the boscam transmitters. I'm a fan of immersionRC and circular polarized SpiroNet  antennas, and what I have gathered on forums, most pilots use these too. Make sure your screen has a built in FPV receiver (like the Deluxe and premium). Otherwise youd need another power source and more wires hanging all over the place. The sun shades are uselull too. Also keep in mind, in many countries only 25mW are permitted (at least in Europe). You might disturb somebody or cause interferences  in densly populated areas?? But unlike 250-600mW, you won't get that far.
