I'm testing the follow me funtion in DJI Go app. I'm having trouble getting it to work correctly.
I'm using the Android nexus 7 2013. The android device has GPS but not cell phone connection.

What I assumed would occur is that I bring the drone to a position at least 10m high and then have the drone follow from that position in relation to the rc. However if I position the drone  directly behind me and then start walking across a field, the follow me function will swing the drone to one side of me and follow me from a perpendicular position.


I'm not able to get the drone to follow me from directly behind my path.

I'm wondering if I used an device that has A-GPS that the follow up me function will work correctly?

Also is there a minimum speed that I need to move in order for the follow me function to work properly and walking is just too slow?

I wonder if you walk faster or run if it will then track behind you.
