Vibrato? None here bud, but I have a trouble free Phantom 3 Pro'.

The only thing that shakes is the RC, in my cold hands... Hahaha

Yup, old motors, old body, & still no screw pocket fractures.
Blemish and control problem free. Kind of like me. Hehe

Hopefully you can get rid of the vibrations, I know it's happening to a handful of users out of the tens of thousands of Phantoms sold.
I too have the older motors, I have close to 300 flights and only changed my props after about 275 flights because I was flying over the ocean for a job, I have never had any issues with any firmware update, no vibrations, no stress cracks. My P3 Pro that I bought last April still looks 100% and operates as brand new.

Hopefully, this vibration issue, can be addresses through an app add on, or firmware update, and not have to be "sent in".

The dreaded thought. 6-8 week turnaround. That's a complete season, in our Alberta time frame.

Definately something, which I don't wish, to be a party to.

I can safely say that I do have the same problem as you do, I though it was because it was a little more windy then normal, I have not replaced anything on it since I bought it back in August.

This one looks like a prop that is out of balance.  Do you own a prop balancer to check your current props and new props?   I balance mine and have yet to put one on the balancer that was balanced.  They are not terribly off, but prop balance is very important, and no ones props are ever well balanced out of the package unless they have been hand balanced (IMHO).

Sounds like you have a defective motor.  You could try lubricating it with a non conductive material.  I have been doing that with brushless motors on RC craft for years.  In reality it should be made right.  If it is with in 30 day I would exchange it.

On one hand I'm too scared to update from 1.4, despite the fact the drone can't fly in a straight line. On the other I will need to update before the warranty runs out in case the update 'bricks' my drone again... We're seeing quotes about the hundreds of thousands of drones sold with only a few issues, but unless we know how many are all running the latest f/w we can't put a finger on the size of the problem (wonder if DJI know this from the GO app data when people log in or sync flight logs?).

I've not seen a single problem free f/w update since I got my P3A and it should be both an embarrassment and a great concern to DJI - they have to sort these problems out and give us a stable platform.

The P3 is a great product when it's working/stable - but the market is screaming out for someone to get the whole product experience right; great drone, stable platform/software, great customer service etc. GoPro are probably watching all this with great interest...

This slow motion video shows exactly the type of vibration I was getting.  Strangely it was at its worst in cold conditions as well..

Mine seems sorted for now by reducing gains, but I've yet to test in cold conditions again, so it might just be a temporary fix.  I'm expecting cold weather in the next week or two so we'll soon know.

plus one here.i updated my P3pro two days ago and flew it as 1.4 and 1.6 on the same day. Right now i have v1.6 and vibrations all over after the update. It even sound different, more noise and louder too.

Guys please continue to vote as there is apparently only a small handful of us here having problems  ...

To everyone who are experiencing vibrations, this morning I decided to run an in-depth GAINS change and after 20min. into going up/down with the bird I finally go to something. First my specs

1 - Original Shell (1st Gen)
2 - Original motors, from first batch
3 - Original MC and ESC from first batch
4 - Firmware 1.6 on all components and batteries
5 - Latest GO app, on  iPhone 6
6 - 46 degrees outside temperature
7- 9 mph winds

TEST 1 - Reduced Yaw to 95%
Result: Same vibrations as before with default

TEST 2 - Reduced Yaw to 90%
Result: Same vibrations as before with default

TEST 3 - Reduced Yaw to 85%
Result: Same vibrations as before with default

TEST 4 - Reduced Yaw to 80%
Result: Minor reduction, but not much better as before with default. Motor noise still there, different noise  than when I flew with FW version 1.4

TEST 5 - Reduced Yaw to 80%, Reduced ROLL and PITCH to 90%
Result: I can say that it took off, sounded and behaved like when it had FW 1.4 on it. This did the trick so for those saying that ROLL + PITCH won;t affect it is not true

After reading this post for 1 hr. I can say that something changed on the FW that requires us users to tweak down the gains in order to maintain same smooth characteristics of FW 1.4. I have to say that now I have confidence to fly over water again.

Hope it helps. In sum, my gains are now as: 90, 90, 80, 100

I too had  sever vibration right after upgrading to ver. 1.5. Also had a lot of drift problems. The drift was so bad it caused my p3p to crash into an object then fall to the ground from around 50 feet high. The crash broke my p3p beyond repair.
I bought my p3p last summer and have upgraded every time a new version came out. I was very happy with my bird with absolutely no problems until this 1.5 upgrade. Now all I have is a remote controller, several spare batteries, props, and a $300 hard shell case that is almost empty. Not sure if I will ever buy another dji product again. Too much money  thrown away for 6 months of flying fun.
