An answer has surfaced!!
I came across a very informative video on youtube.
The red lines showing on the monitor indicate items / areas that are in focus. The feature is controlled and turned on / off in the settings called Peak Focus Threshold and has settings of NONE - 70% - 80% - 90%. Over exposure warning is also available and appears as black & white stripes that swirls, (Same as they did with the X3), if turned on.

I have found that this feature is not available in the android version of DJO GO.
Nor are the enter / exit travel mode icons on screen.
I guess with android you have to use the switch around the RTH button.

Still not on Android. When does this must have feature come on android? In december said in few days. We have end of february now!!!
