I just flew two short flights this morning and in the flight log, they are showing what appears to be the flight time instead of the date.  Also when I open the flight record, I first thought the date was wrong as it appears to be July 3, 2016 (07/03/2016), but then realized that the month and day are reversed. Is there a setting to change the date format?

That's the date format used by most countries in the world.
The date format you would like is used by only a small number of countries like USA, Belize and Federated States of Micronesia.
DJI have chosen the date for mat used by most people and haven't given any way  to  change that.

I realize what it is, I just want to change it as it is confusing.   

It's also super frustrating that DJI allows you to switch between Metric and Imperial but but the return to home and maximum elevation settings are still in meters.

If you look my Phantom 4 Pro is saving in DD/MM/YY but my Mavic is saving it right with MM/DD/YY how do I fix the phantom

is it not based on your language settings in your device?
