Started upgrading my firmware yesterday according to the instruction. Everything went fine until it stuck at 53 %. Finally I turned it off. Now I can't ugrade it again. The app still show the old firmware version. What do I need to do to restart the procedure?David
Delete the log file from the microSD card, put it back into the Inspire camera.
Try this sequence:
1. Power on remote
2. Power on quad
3. Exit travel mode
4. Power down quad
5. Attach camera/gimbal
6. Power up the quad
7. Wait for app to ask if you want to install firmware; proceed
I did exactly what you said. Nothing new is happening. The app says SAFE TO FLY, nothing in the overall status, firmware version is 01.15, App version 1.0.2, RC 0.1.03
It says SAFE TO FLY and no firmware warning? That's interesting.
Try downloading the 0.16 firmware from DJI again, extract and copy the BIN file into a freshly formatted microSD. I once downloaded the file into the same Download folder, extracted it, and copied an older BIN into the microSD
The way I did mine I I took the sd card out of the camara and powered up the bird after It did setup sequence I put the SD card back into the camara. And that's how it took mine.

Okay - suggest both of you contact the 24-hour Inspire tech support ASAP. Use the live chat, drop them a message and let us know what they say. This is rather odd.

I have contacted the online chat, phone support, and email support, and as of now, no one has figured out how to link the Inspire1 back to the remote. Today is day #3 with this issue, hopefully it will get resolved very soon.
This video talks about firmware update time out issues. Doesn't talk about binding the remote back to the Inspire, but it might help when first encountering this problem.
