Has anybody tried the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 witht the inspire?

It seems like a good choice with sold graphics and a bright screen, but is it any good with the Pilot App?

Feedback will be greatly appreciated

For that matter, does the Samsung Tab S 10.5 fit in the supplied holder?

I've been using the Xperia Z1 with no problems though it would be better if the screen were larger.

Max there is a post on here saying the 10 inch will just fit in but it's very snugg, Samsung has an 8 inch version which also works well

I'm really pissed about the whole Apple thing, having bought an iPad Air Retina just for the drone to arrive.
Such as it is, if my Inspire arrives Wednesday as planned, I'll probably go around the mall and pick up an Android tablet if DJI remains tight lipped about the Apple situation.

Me too pal and to top it off they have not replied to my last 2 emails, very poor at the moment

what do you think about samsung galaxy note 10.1. it is as well as galaxy tab s 10.5 and 6mm smaller that is feet to tab holder.299 ppi display super clear.and so same price with GTS 10.5

The Samsung Tab S 8.4 fits and works well.

I'm not really sure what kind of answer they could provide. I work with iOS developers and none of them have ever been able to get an approval date from Apple for stuff going into the App Store

My email wasn't about the app it was about them sending me an email 8 days ago saying all round 2 orders will be shipped last week and yet it appears mine hasn't and they don't answer my email asking whats happening.

I have a Sony Xperia Z2 tablet, the app works just fine, although I'm unable to test video streaming as my Inspire still hasn't been shipped by my dealer.

Actually the only odd thing I've noticed is that the compass in the app is totally wrong. On Google maps, it points the correct direction to north, but in the Pilot APP it swings around wildly.

Nexus 9 works great

I am using the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition) and it fits the holder well.  No issues with the app either...  

One minor issue is that the micro USB plug is on the bottom (when in landscape mode); so you will need to put it in the remote holder offset in order to plug in the USB cord.  If you feeling frisky, you could also use a Dremel/drill to widen the gap in the remote control's device holder.  I for one am fine with the tablet in the holder offset.

The Note has a stylus for taking more precise hand written notes; where you have to use your finger on the Tab (like the Ipad).  You will have to check; but I believe the Note may have a little faster processor too.

Galaxy note 10.1and tab10.5 both have same cpu and ram.  Note have a tft  super clear with s-pen and tab have a super Amoled display both are good  enough.
