Generally, if the battery swells itself, it has to be disposed of properly in case of any danger.

Hi,

I have some concerns regarding my Ronin-M 3400mah battery. I have noticed the other day that the battery is slightly swollen. It is barely noticeable so I'm not sure if that happened recently or if it's been like that since new. There are no other signs that the battery is failing, it powers the ronin for as long as it always has, keeps charge, and it doesn't get warm even when in use or during charge. I have never fully discharged the battery and the PC assistant shows 92% lifetime left with only 26 discharge cycles.

So my question is - Is there any way to test the battery to make sure that it is safe to use and won't go up in flames? Or do I have to dispose of it after only using 8% of its lifetime span?
