Getting the p4 this week, can I do firmware update through an iPad or is it only PC, same question for IMU calibrations

Firmware is better off done threw you computer, pc or mac, IMU calibration is done threw the app, apple or adroid, as is compass. VPs sensors are done threw dji assistant on computer

Thanks, had a brain fart on the imu..I just don't have ready access to a PC,  time to hit up my friends..

if you have a mac, laptop you can do it with that

It's is very easy to do using your iPad as well.
