I´m sorry if this has already been posted, but I just want to know what the official recomendations are for attaching an androiddevice to the Mavic Pro Controller.
What version of Android is supported? I know the length and thickness that the controller can take, but except that, what are the requirements? Does any old Androiddevice work?

Well, I have the app on my workphone, Samsung S7, and it´s true that the Mavic is not in it but the app is installed and works, so I guess there is some specifications that could be shared since the app is working on Androidphones, or am I missing something?!

if you check out the DJI GO App information (think you can get it from Phantom 4 or others link too) it says * DJI GO supports ios 8.0 (or Later) or Android 4.3 (or Later). you can get this info from one of the Mavic thread where there is a link to quick start-up.

also there is thread here mentioned that you need at least 3gb ram and above. (if not mistaken).

You probable can use the same DJI recommended device list from the P4.

Why is nobody warning this guy YOU CANNOT USE THE S7, IT REBOOTS AT RANDOM WHILE RUNNING THE DJI APP??

Jeez!

I just downloaded the DJI Go app on my S6 Edge and the Mavic is not listed.  I sure hope they update this soon!

Basically, we are waiting for the DJI Go app to be updated to v3.0 (I believe).  This will provide support for the Mavic as a product. The dropdown will show the products currently supported. I'm hearing that this will be quite soon, and hopefully prior to initial shipments going out.  Otherwise Android users will be flying with the RC, only, with no FPV.... LOL

No, but it was on a "not listed but confirmed to work" list on another board.

It's basically the same hardware wise as the S6, so I don't see why it wouldn't.

I use a S6 and it works fine. Haven't tried a Note5.

App is out but you have to get it via DJI Site for now. Not via Google Play. Go to the site and scan the QR Code
