I'm pretty sure that that's the same email everyone else got that ordered a Mavic... And it doesn't say they can't finish production in time so there will be a delay in shipments.

It just says production is in full swing and they will be fulfilling orders as fast as they can.

Though after reading the email from DJI again I think this guy needs to get a new job because his communication with customer has been poor so far and his job tittle is "Global Director of Communication"

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that none of the orders have yet been shipped.   Even the first two hours as the rumor mill was circulating yesterday.

"strong global demand" that line is getting boring already.

why can't they give more details, like xxxx amount will be released on xx/xx/xx date, then another xxxx amount on xx/xx/xx date.

every other pre-release purchase i have made with other companies ^have done the above.

The high demand excuse is garbage. They going to hold everyone's until they have enough to cover everyone? Don't think so, they would at least ship out what they had. Sounds like a hardware or logistics fault here.


But who knows. Surely none of us here.

And didn't even give a new date. I'm guessing were in for a long wait. We'll be lucky if it ships in December. Haha
I've got plenty of other hobbies to keep me busy till it finally gets released. Plus I wouldn't really use it much till next summer.

You will be notified by email when there is an update.
Please be patient, I promise the Mavic is worth the shipping delay.
When that package does arrive, you will be thoroughly impressed.
