Is there a way to measure distances between points on video shot with inspire pro? I'm doing powerline survey and need to be able to see distances from trees to powerlines.

The unit is not able to measure distance between the aircraft and its subject. The only data you will see is the current height, latitude and longitude information.

Nothing on the aircraft itself, you will need to take a known measurement of an object in frame and use that to measure the gaps manually.

You may be able to use the Video stream with some software from ESRI called FMV (Full Motion Video)

Or you could take multiple still images (you could do frame grabs from the Video, but even 4k video isn't as good as a 12mp still) and use either Drone2Map (another ESRI product) or just use Pix4D to process the images (the concept is called Structure from Motion) and create a high resolution 3d model that would allow for accurate measurements....  Let me know if you need more info to get started.  It helps if you have an understanding of GIS....

You can set the app settings to enable a SRT file to be created that will give you a GPS let/long every second for the flight. That's about it.
