Machine was flying with a damaged compass and gps, ordered a new compass. downloaded software for windows version of rc assistant and phantom 2 assistant.

THIS IS a Phantom 2 NOT VISION , Has RC / TX unit with micro usb plug but only 1 LED light
The aircraft has a H33D camera mount.

TX connects to phantom 2 but will not start the motors
It is binded
When I try to start the motors I get 5 red flashes
Updated the TX / RC firmware thats when the problem started

Not sure about DJI firmware update process but have tried with success most of the time with
S900, Zenmue, Naza, A2 etc

When connecting aircraft and remote to your PC with Assistant installed, any warning or error message popping up on the screen?
Since it functioned well before firmware upgrading, may I know have you tried to upgrade it again?

Don't know if I'm supposed to put this here but can a phantom 2 controller be paired up with a phantom 3 standard drone?
