One thing to look out for is that the Android & IOS versions do not always have same version numbers, it all depends when the updates are released.
And the firmware numbers for the RC & the aircraft are different.

When you do the 1.10.90 firmware update on the aircraft do you have to do each battery separately? I have three batteries and I only did the first battery which was at the time of the firmware update.

Yes, you will need to insert each battery one at a time in the bird and start it with the updated firmware still on the SD card.
There are many videos on YouTube to show you how this is done.

If upgrading for battery is needed, you will get an notice in the APP when everything is connected properly.
