Just bought the Oly 9-18mm zoom for my X5s. There is no slider to servo control zoom on Go4 app.
Does this lens have a servo zoom?

As far as I can see this lens is not supported by DJI yet, maybe if there is enough noise they my update the firmware to support it?

DJI not only lists this lens as supported for the Zenmuse X5s, they actually sell a balancing kit to balance it on the gimbal.

There is nothing wrong with the UI, that lens is manual zoom.

Here's a couple of screen grabs from footage I shot with the Oly 9-18mm lens. The lens was set to 9mm, and the screen grabs are straight out of Davinci Resolve. One image is uncorrected and the other image has a 0.1 correction for lens distortion.

Cool, TY. Do you have any other lenses? If so, how do you feel it compares to other lenses? also, I would imagine its possible to get props in the shot being so wide, or no?

Yeah, I have a 15, 25 and 45mm. Zoom lenses never match the performance of primes, but, at 9mm, it's the best WA lens available without going fisheye. Others have reported that this lens is a little soft at the edges, but, on my HD monitor it looks pretty good. Let me add, if you're not aware, that the front lens elements extend out in front of the basic lens, when you're zooming. As long as you have it balanced on the gimbal, it works fine. But, it's pretty important to keep it balanced so you dont burn out the servo motor.

I believe this lens is not supported... have a look at the lenses that are supported on the I2 Page. Also, another note/reason for this lens not to be supported is that the gimbal would have to recalibrate / rebalance every time a zoom adjustment was made and the gimbal is not designed for this...

It is supported - its listed on the DJI X5S info and spec pages:

Here is the complete list:

Olympus M.Zuiko 12mm/2.0
DJI MFT 15mm/1.7 ASPH
Olympus M.Zuiko 17mm/1.8
Panasonic Lumix 15mm/1.7
Olympus M.Zuiko 25mm/1.8
Panasonic Lumix 14-42mm/3.5-5.6 HD
Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm/1.8
Olympus M.Zuiko 9-18mm/4.0-5.6

You have the same problem with the 14-42 in terms of balancing issues.

I believe you need to have Focus/Zoom as a switchable C1 or C2 function so that you can use the tilt wheel for a smooth transition. In addition, are you able to put the zoom as automatic, or is that what you meant by servo zoom?

Thanx, DJI-Jamie. By "servo-zoom" I was asking if the zoom was servo motor driven on this lens. I believe the answer is that it is manual, there is no servo motor that drives the zoom feature.
