Machina has the best way. For 4k you want 60 target, 80 max, 2 pass. I check the render and depth boxes.
It used to be free and easy to do what you want. Back when avi was popular you could use a freeware program called virtual dub. Allowed you to open any format, edit it, append, and then save it back using direct stream copy of the originals. I still have it on disk somewhere if you wanted it. They did have a ff plugin developed that allowed you to edit any format, but you still have the same problem when you go to save, it has to be avi. So no direct stream copy is allowed in other formats, even append won't work with h.264
Maybe they have a fix for it now days that will let you direct stream save in mp4 or mov format. Not sure haven't used it in years. I would look it up though, it used to be a nice program to slap together camera video without encoding anything. |
