I have noticed that after every flight, my battery has heated up. I was wondering if it is safe to charge a warm battery right after flight. Thanks!

It's best to let the battery completely cool down before recharging it. If it's too warm, it will not charge.

Whenever I have started charging it right after flight, it had no problem charging.

Best to let it cool down, but unless you plan to use that battery straight away, there is no point in charging it immediately after. It is better to charge a LiPo battery just before you go out flying.

It will recharge but it advisable to let it cool and prolonged its  life cycle.

Stick it in the oven and heat it right up until the plastic case is soft and then charge it.*

they should rest. mine seem to have a light blinking near the button diff from normal charging. when they cool down they charge fine. heat and lipos do not get along that is a cause for puffing, no not every one but increases the chances

It's really not recommended to charge the battery when it's still warm like that. The battery can be forgiving once or twice, but it could potentially reduce the life of that battery significantly if that's done constantly. It would be best to let the battery sit for a bit before charging it.

agreed, I believe the manual states to let it come to room temperature first before charging...

I would buy more if I could but I probably will save up money to get another battery. Thanks for the replies! I now know what not to do!

If you want to fly more then get more batteries. I have 3.
That means I could do 2 flights and by end second flight the first battery has cooled so it can be charged.
Some locations I go to have public bathrooms with power points.
My 4x4 has a 110v voltage point so I can be driving one location to another and charge a battery on the way.
