So, after few days of trying and several balabcing positions... i an still having problems with gimbal rest positions..
When the Osmo is powered on and standing on the base, you can see it moving slightly.. Tried with a leveller up and it moves almost by 1 degree on the roll axis..

I know everyone has this problem.. What is the solution? Timelapses suck because of this

There is none, these really were designed to be in motion and not sitting still. I think it was a mistake by DJI to advertise the timelapse feature. Some people lock the gimbal but then you have a constant beeping and I'm not convinced it won't strain the motors.

Tag line for the Osmo is REIMAGINE MOVEMENT

Should be OK for hyperlapses (OSMO 2) but not for still time lapses.
