Is DJI ever again going to sell the TB50 batteries or just let us I2 owners die on the vine????

I am wondering if they are going to add the new TB55 to the Inspire 2 line up. It is definitely bringing back memories of the TB48 drought for the Inspire 1 last year

Well that may be but lots of discussion on that idea concluded that the TB55 just will not fit on the I2 as currently configured.  Oh wait!  I bet DJI is developing a NEW battery for the I2 , possibly called the TBxx that will have twice the capacity, weigh half as much and sell for 1/4 the price.  Oh heaven, I can't wait!!! LOL

Sorry, I'm just feeling negative tonight about the situation!

I hear you!  As I am sure you are aware, batteries are going to be changing almost as fast as the drone technology. They are finding new ways to squeeze more power in less space.  The TB55 is not that much bigger profile (or maybe I am missing soothing here)  I think that the I2 can hold more away from the frame, right?

We can only hope they are going to announce something soon

I've been checking all over here in the states and nobody that I has the TB50 battery in stock.  All of vendors had them but their inventory dried up.  If anyone finds them please share.

Hi cougar,

I am getting close to purchasing my I2 and now the batteries are non existent !!  I hope you got extras!  PS, did you upgrade your FW? I saw Dr. Jon's post regarding the speed was reduced....  PM me or email me if you have more info

Some stock is shipping - I collected a couple of sets thus week which I'd had on back order fir a few months. The dealer said that the entire delivery was already spoken for... 200 units in on the morning and they'd all be going out to fulfill waiting customer orders  within the day! They are new production stock as the firmware was up to date on them.

Seems like TB50 availability is going to be a bit like that of the Mavic
