I just got the inspire 2. Just curious mine came with both licenses in a pacakge deal. How do I activate them. It wont let me use the 5k. Also I dont have the SSD yet. Can I read the SSD directly from the inspire2 using the supplied cable and plugging it into the drone and the other end into my computer?

You don't activate them, they should already be installed for you by DJI.  Usual clue that they're installed for you is a CinemaDNG/ProRes sticker on the I2 somewhere.

It won't let you use the 5K mode as you need either the 240 or 480GB SSD to enable that mode, the little microSD cards can't cope with the volume and speed of the data 5K creates.

You can't read the SSD directly from the Inspire 2, you need to get the CineSSD reader to do that.

Not for 5K, but it can use the codecs at their available 4K resolutions:



In addition, without any of the SSDs installed, you won't be able to film at any of the ProRes or CinemaDNG codecs.
